FOR READING THIS FAR, HERE'S A LOW FAT  TREAT!

I admit it! I’m a big oatmeal eater. I love to make homemade oatmeal cookies, and eat hot oatmeal for breakfast a couple of days a week.

So imagine how excited I was to find in my email the other day a note from Tom Venuto, the “Burn the Fat” Guru, that he was sharing his famous recipe for oatmeal pancakes with ME!

Oatmeal pancakes you say!!....... and from a committed fat burner?

Well here it is, tested in my own kitchen. I’ll secretly tell you that I added a bit of red raspberry jam when served, but otherwise, it WAS GOOD!

Burn the Fat Recipes
High Protein Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal Pancakes

Oatmeal Pancakes! This is it! The world-famous “high protein apple-cinnamon oatmeal pancake.” A single favorite (and most often eaten) recipe for so many reasons…….. and
not for breakfast!

INGREDIENTS                                      NUTRITION INFO:
¾ C OLD FASHIONED OATS           Serving size:   1 pancake
4 EGG WHITES                               Calories: 423
½ APPLE,DICED                             Protein:  39.5 gr.
1 SCOOP PROTEIN POWDER       Carbs:    53.5 gr.
  (Vanilla)                                             Fat:          6.0 gr.
1 tsp Cinnamon

Yield:  I large pancake

INSTRUCTIONS:

1.)  Put all ingredients in a mixing bowl and stir until mixture has a semi-liquid pancake batter consistency.

2.) Spray a bit of non-stick spray on a fry pan and pour the mixture into the heated pan. Cook on medium heat.

For variation use other types of fruit.

The pancake will stay fresh for a day. Just wrap in foil.
